Samsung has announced one new Galaxy Tab device that has been named as the Galaxy Tab 2, the Galaxy tab comes with Android Ice Cream Sandwich Pre-Loaded, Galaxy Tab 2.0 is the new addition to the Galaxy Tab series, the specifications of the Galaxy Tab 2 are quite similar to that of Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Only the camera profile, the structure and and CPU profiles are dissimilar.
Specifications of Galaxy Tab 2
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is mostly similar to the older Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, the 7′ inch WSVGA Screen of 1024x600px LCD, the main camera of the Tab is of 3.0 mp but this time the camera has fixed focus. Other specifications are fully similar such as BlueTooth supports, Wi-Fi, 1 GB of RAM, GPS, 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage plus microSD card support, and HSPA+ connectivity.
However, the Galaxy Tab 2.0 device would have a thicker body i.e. 10.5mm when compared to Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus the body is of 9.9mm. It was predicted that Samsung would be unveiling this device with their new Exynos Chip, but no luck here and the device came with a 1Ghz Processor. But this time there is no Exynos Chip again in the device, maybe the device with the awesome Exynos Chip would be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2012 which is going to start on February 25.
We can predict that Samsung would unveil some more great devices on which they’re working. Let’s see what happens.!!
